According to the Met Office, my sleepy little village was due nothing but rain or possibly sleet. Well, we woke up to around 4 inches of snow in our back garden! The school is still open, but I made the decision to keep my daughter off since it was quite icy and cold. So today has been spent building Snowy the Snowdog, having snowball fights, drinking tea and hot chocolate and eating cake in front of the TV.
A cook I am not, but I’ve even gone as far as digging the slow-cooker out to make pork stew and dumplings for dinner! Unfortunately, this means that I have done very little in the way of writing. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.
I did, however, get a lovely message from the fabulous Robin of Rocking Horse Publishing to inform me that SEVEN DIRTY WORDS is now live on Amazon! (Yay!) **Happy Dance**
I’ve also started reading Reused by the lovely Robin Tidwell. I’d like to say that I will read a bit more this evening after noisy children have gone to bed, but it’s Wednesday and that means Bones and my David Boreanaz fix!
Perhaps I’ll do some more reading and writing tomorrow… unless it snows again of course.
